A bedroom is an essential area for humans to unwind after a full day of activity. It is a safe haven for the majority of us. Because most people spend most of their time here, it is critical to have a decent bedroom design that will make you feel comfortable and calm. After a full day of activity, you'll need a place to sleep and unwind so you can recharge your batteries for the next day. This is why having a well-designed bedroom is important.

The average person spends around 30% of their lifetime in their bedroom. The standard bedroom size is 10 × 10 ft. Depending on the size of the home, most major bedrooms may contain a king or queen size bed and some furniture used as a dressing table or workspace. There could even be enough space for storage and a sitting area.

To be honest,  there are no strict standards when it comes to determining the size of a bed. A bedroom's basic layout often ranges from 9 feet by 9 feet up to 17 feet by 17 feet. The size of the bed that will be in the bedroom should be the most important factor of its size. The bedroom should be able to accommodate the bed in the room, but it should also have adequate room for movement.

Commonly smaller bedrooms are generally 8 feet by 9 feet in size. This is not recommended since it leaves less space for movements. With a typical dimension of ten feet by ten feet, Queen size beds do not require much additional space. A king-size bed increases the normal size to 10 feet by 12 feet and 6 inches. Hence, we suggest you have at least 10x12 feet reserved for your bedroom while designing the layout.

You must organize your bedroom in a way that will make you feel comfortable. It should be peaceful and clutter-free.  You can even hire professionals to help you design the ultimate bedroom for your comfort.
